We are Jenkins Brick Company - an organization of professional men and women in the manufacturing and building materials distribution industry. At Jenkins Brick Company, we manufacture brick and distribute our own brick as well as brick and associated products manufactured by others. We operate 27 locations in five states with a philosophy that we are much more than a brick manufacturer and distributor.

 In the late 1800's in Wetumpka, Alabama, Mike Jenkins founded our company. Mr. Jenkins had lost his leg in a railroad accident and, while recuperating, put his creative talents to work by inventing a bee hive which he subsequently began to manufacture and sell across the South. Before long, interest in his bee hives had grown so that a new factory for this purpose was needed. Not being able to obtain brick with which to construct his bee hive factory, Mr. Jenkins produced his own brick. These were widely admired and he soon found himself manufacturing brick as well as bee hives. A second brick plant was built in Montgomery in 1903 and at the same time the company's headquarters moved there from Wetumpka.

 Jenkins Brick is one of a decreasing number of American owned and operated brick companies in the United States today. Our company is in the 5th generation of leadership under the Jenkins family. We take pride in the fact that American craftsmanship and ingenuity are alive and well within our organization.

 Currently, we operate distribution yards in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina; with production facilities in Montgomery, Coosada and Moody, AL.  Annually, we reinvest all of our profits back into our company in order to provide for improvements in  efficiency, increases in output and growth.
